Kordes & Kordes Film was founded in Berlin in 2003 by the sisters Alexandra and Meike Kordes. Since then, the company's cinema and television films have won more than 170 awards. The current hit series THE SCHOOL OF MAGICAL ANIMALS reached 8.5 million viewers in German cinemas, was awarded the German Film Prize three times in a row in the category “Best-attended Film” and was honored with the Bavarian Film Prize for “Best Family Entertainment”, the Golden Screen (3 million viewers) and the Bogey Award.

Kordes & Kordes Film has made a name for itself with sophisticated and passionately narrated productions, including the feature film VIER MINUTEN (German Film Award in Gold), which was sold in 40 territories, the comedy FAMILIE LOTZMANN AUF DEN BARRIKADEN (awarded four Grimme Prizes), the drama EIN JAHR NACH MORGEN (Günter-Rohrbach-Preis dem Drama) and the crime thriller DAS GESETZ SIND WIR (German Television Crime Award).

Ida takes in talking fox Rabbat, Outcast Benni the wise turtle Henrietta. As things start disappearing at school, children and animals must stick together to find the thief.
