Neon & Bor
Neon is super smart. And her little baby brother Bor is at least highly gifted. When they have a problem, they always solve it with an invention. Wouldn't you like a robot to tidy up your room? Or a magnifying bubble blower that makes the last cookie as big as a cake? Maybe even a time loop tube that makes it your birthday every day? Neon and Bor are constantly working on such inventions. However - let's be honest - their solutions to problems often lead to even bigger problems. But you can solve them with new inventions! Ingenious!

“Jijang Siwangdo” - Going through hell - concepts of the afterlife in the Goryeo period (918-1392) in Korea
One of the most precious works of the Goryeo period (918-1392) will be presented at the Humboldt Forum (Berlin) in 2025: a rare Buddhist hanging scroll from the Korea Collection of the Museum of Asian Art.
The masterpiece depicts the Bodhisattva Jijang and the Ten Kings of Hell and impresses with its fine gold ornamentation and the skilful depiction of the elites of the time. The hanging scroll has been comprehensively analysed for the first time as part of an interdisciplinary research project.
The presentation is accompanied by an impressive visual installation, for which monströös is responsible. In this way, the fascinating world of the Goryeo period can be experienced in a sensual way.
