Just on Day

A fox and a wild boar are sitting by the lake, as they do every day, when they spot a hatching mayfly. Both are immediately fascinated by the cheerful, clever creature. But they don't have the heart to tell it that it only has one day to live. To explain his sadness, the wild boar claims without further ado that the fox only has one day left. The fly then plans to give the fox the best day of his life.
