Storykid Studio is the independent creative studio founded by the animation filmmaker and illustrator Ceylan Beyoğlu. Based in Hamburg, the creative-led studio creates and produces its own original content for young people of all cultures, as well as working on commissioned collaborations. As a place of handcrafted stories inspired mainly by the cultural diversity and history around us, Storykid Studio's mission is to spark curiosity and awareness about the world we live in. And to encourage curious young minds to engage in dialogue!

Mermaid in the River Weser
In the mythological story, some greedy fishermen catch a mermaid and despite her warnings of an upcoming storm, they drag her into the village, instead of releasing her back to the sea. As a result of their ignorance, the sea takes revenge by flooding the village.
